Nick Atkinson-Weber – who is as posh as they are charming – lost their fiance to the Underworld and needs a crack team to get Joe back. But all is not as it seems, with Joe watching it all unfold alongside a chorus of dead souls.
Drawing on the cross-cultural mythos of pulp-era Sword and Sorcery, Please Fear the Reaper is a lighthearted riff on morality tales. The setting is contemporary, with broke PhD students and overconfident influencers battling monsters and the rising cost of living alike. Please Fear the Reaper is a warning against hubris (and trusting nepo babies with anything).
